Right—except–you’re confusing “soul” with “spirit.” In Genesis you’ll find that the word “soul” means anything that breathes air. Therefore we ARE living, breathing souls vs we have a soul. The correct translation for “soul” in English is “spirit.” We don’t “posses a soul;” we ARE souls that posses a spirit!!! dionne
