Nicki, my heart goes with you. I was a cancer patient 4 years ago. Please never stop talking to the Lord for your mom. Also, pray for others too. In one of the meditational readings I had during those days, I learned that I need to pray more for other than myself because that charitable and selfless act gives you more merit. God hears and listens and He’ll take of your family all the more.
Lord God, through the intercession of Mama Mary, Your mother and ours and of St. Peregrine, the patron of people inflicted with cancer, stretch your arms and touch Sister Phyllis that she may regain her health for our greater glory and praise. Bless the hands of the doctors and nurses in whose care you hold them. Bless also Nicki and other loved ones that they may have the strength and courage to undergo the trials of pain and sorrow as they try to comfort Phyllis, Amen.
