Business people who haven’t delved deeper into Catholic Social Teaching are missing out. Believe it or not, the Church has quite a lot to say about business as a vocation and how to use business to bring about positive change in the world.

In fact, the Church recognizes that business success, when done with the common good in mind, is something to promote and encourage. That’s just one part of what business people like these will be talking about during the Human Ecology Conference at the Catholic University of America.

  1. Frank Hanna is not only the CEO of Hanna Capital in Atlanta, Georgia, he was also appointed a Knight of the Grand Cross of the Order of St Gregory by Pope Benedict XVI.
  2. Nicola (Nick) Sanna is the COO of RiskLens, Inc., a premier cyber risk management software company and President of the FAIR Institute. He is dedicated to living out the Gospel in the business world.
  3. Bill Bowman has led companies as President or CEO for over 25 years. He is currently the President and CEO of Core Values Group LLC in Boston, which works with employees to help them grow in the human virtues that are most important to their organization’s success.
  4. Sean Fieler is President of Equinox Partners, L.P. and the Kuroto Fund, L.P. and serves as Chairman of the American Principles Project.
  5. Tim Busch has been a practicing attorney for the past 35 years and is the Founder of The Busch Firm, as well as the co-founder of the Napa Institute which seeks to form Catholic leaders, particularly in the business world.
