This is one of, if not the, most powerful pro-life messages we’ve ever seen. This video was produced by the French March for Life movement, Marche Pour La Vie.

It honestly left our staff speechless. It is that powerful.

The description of the video in French reads: “À un choix de te perdre, découvrez l’histoire de Lucie et à travers elle de toutes les femmes qui ont dû faire face à la décision d’avorter” which translates to:

A choice to lose you, discover the story of Lucie and through her all the women who had to face the decision to abort:

At 1:02 it says “What would my life have been without you.”

  1. Thank you for sharing this. It is eye opening, and I firmly believe we need to do whatever we can to help get past the “tag lines” and get to the truth about what abortion is. To that end, I just hosted an episode of a talk show in which we had a panel discussion about “How to Talk About Abortion” which could help people in the pro-life crowd start some conversations on the issue. To the extent anyone is interested, you can find it here:

  2. Even though the translation is accurate in verb tense, I think for U.S. readers it should be translated, “What would my life be without you.”

  3. We thought we were so progressive, so hip to the times, so smart.
We thought we knew everything. We were wrong. We were so very naïve, so very ignorant, so very proud.
Thank God for His mercy for He never stopped loving us even when we stopped loving ourselves.

    • That is the confession that we need to get (by the mercy of God) every baby boomer/pro-choice person to make. Thank you for sharing those words.

  4. BEAUTIFUL!!!! Please make this into an English version and show all over the airwaves in America. Maybe only FOX Cable News and EWTN will show it, but that’s better than no one showing it. It really puts the truth out there for people to see! THANK YOU!!!

  5. I think about the question in this video at times. My father died in 1942 when my mother was six months pregnant. She chose to rely on God, her extended family members, and her faith to carry on as a single mom. My answer to the question is: “Without her choice to embrace the difficult challenges that life had given her, my conscious life, my children, and our contributions to this world would have never been.” Thank you, Mother, and thank you, dear God for granting the needed grace to a working single mother to always provide the way when our lives seemed most difficult.

  6. it would be viewed more by pro-“choice” if it simply said “What would my life be without you”. We need to get rid of the pro life and pro choice labels. pro life is the default we are born with. Lets teach people that “choice” is not choice at all when it’s brainwashing and removal of human instinct.
