I found these by accident, but enjoyed them very much. It made me reach for A Book of Lenten Prayer, given to me by my dad back in 1975, with my name written on the inside cover in his large bold masculine handwriting. It keeps him close as I pray and contemplate the Prayer Before a Crucifix and The 7 Last Words of Christ, both located on page 52. Thank you, Father Nixon, for your timely reflections.
