Last Sunday Mass at Saint Veronica Parish in Eastpointe, Michigan was interrupted by a nude woman who stood on a pew and shouted pro-abortion messaging.

Two other women similarly shouted, holding up green banners similar to those used by the pro-abortion organization “Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights.” As all three were escorted out of the church, a man can be heard chanting in response “Abortion kills babies!”

A video of the altercation was uploaded to TikTok and later shared on Twitter.

It happened less than a week after the Department of Homeland Security warned ‘houses of worship’ are ‘possible targets’ amid a ‘heightened threat environment’ in the US.

“Given a high-profile U.S. Supreme Court case about abortion rights, individuals who advocate both for and against abortion have, on public forums, encouraged violence, including against government, religious, and reproductive healthcare personnel and facilities, as well as those with opposing ideologies.”

The Archdiocese of Detroit has not commented on “the incident,” as a parish official called it.
