I sent this video to my teenage grandson and told him that we are in the world but not of the world. This video helped me make this point. I told him that one could be a religious and still celebrate their humanity. I believe that God rejoices in our true humanity. He created us to live fully and when we do, we give glory to God. It is refreshing to watch these young men enjoying life as I know that nthey thave committed their very lives to God. In the homily I heard last Sunday Father said, “Jesus did not come into the world to teach us how to suffer and die; He came to teach us how to live!” And these young men are full of life and filled with Christ.
