I pray for all those who are sick and don’t have the means to get treatment or medication. I lift up all those who don’t have food, shelter and clothing. Really praying for M. It must be so hard to be her. She’s so emotionally fragile and has built up so many defense mechanisms that keep her from learning and from repeating the same mistakes. Lord, help me to remember that her behavior stems from her inner weakness and pain and has nothing to do with me. Help me to have compassion for her, even when I am exhausted from dealing with her. Help her to learn to move on! Help her to recognize that she needs professional help- good professional help, not the kind she’s trying to get from self-help gurus. Help her to be well, genuinely well, in the long run. She’s a tremendously broken person, and likely was long before I met her. She’s trying desperately to get my attention because she’s so fragile- help her to move on and to leave me alone. Help her to give up already and move on. Help her to find genuinely healthy ways to meet her emotional needs, rather than begging for attention in unhealthy and self-destructive ways. Really praying for her- seeing her behavior just now, still following me around, trying to get my attention after all this time… it’s so pathetic. Help me to remember with all of the show she puts on of being so strong and in control, that she’s really weak and scared and hurting. She knows she drives other people nuts but doesn’t know how to change and how to really improve her life. Help her, Lord, and help me to have compassion. At the same time, Lord, I really pray for her toxic presence to be out of my life soon. It has been a huge energy drain having her around. Help me to find new circumstances so I can get her out of my life. Really wishing her well, but I also want to be done with dealing with her, for good.
