Jesus, you who hears all the prayers of your people, I adore and humbly come to you in thanksgiving for the wonderous way you watch over us all and grant to us the blessings and graces we don’t deserve. The unanswered prayers I have wondered the “why” of, turned out to have been bad in comparison to that whcih you brought about. I am asking for you to reach the heart of the 19 year old son who seems to have taken a “detour” from his Catholic faith and the Sacraments you have blessed our lives to have. I pray you and your Blessed Mother watch out for him as I have sensed you ask me to step aside and let you go this mile with him so he might learn to depend on you and not mama. It broke my heart to get the protection order, seemingly so cruel, however this is not about mama and emotions, it is about you Jesus for he is ultimately yours and I yeild to your will and in faith of your great love, step back and pray for him to open his heart and life to you and the purpose you have for him to serve you. I ask you to take my pain and use it for another mother caught in domestic abuse and oppression, add it to your heart that it may become another love story of some soul to come to you, and your Name will be glorified in all its wonderous mystery! I ask in your name. Amen.
