Oh glorious apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered thy beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused thee to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors and invokes thee universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who am so miserable; make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded thee of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. For my best friend’s continued recovery in Overeaters Anonymous. I pray that they find continued peace, joy and traquility of mind, body and soul by continuing their journey of recovery in the free program. OA org saved their life as they were once morbidly obese and now live in a pain free and healthy body.
Lord please give me the strength to get myself back into mental and physical shape. Help me to find work, and to save with the intention of having my own home and family. Please bring me a wife and children. I know the woman I love, but maybe you know someone better. Please Lord help me.
