Pray for the unity of our Church, as we are faced with ever mounting tensions that seek to destroy her. May the Lord keep our faith strong in Him and have hope.
Also, ask that the Lord to watch over the Church and society in Hong Kong. What was originally clear and peaceful demands has divided the entire society and families as people stand on either side of the crisis. May Christians be reminded that they are messengers of Christ and that we do not fall into the trap of the devil, wrapping us in hatred and despair. While we speak the truth, we should refrain from cursing of others.
