Heart of Jesus, Son of the Eternal Father, have mercy on us.
Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.
Saint John the Baptist, pray for us. Grant courage to the prophetic in our midst to speak out against rampant heresy and blasphemous behavior. We pray for an end to gossip, both intentional and unintentional, which offends God the Father Almighty so gravely, due to sins against charity, curiosity, modesty of manner, temperance, wanting to stand out in a crowd with salacious knowledge, etc. The arrogance of mankind is astounding. Teach us the worth of restraint, of not bearing false witness against our neighbour through slander and the loss of one’s good name. Unite these painful experiences that so many suffer, to Christ Crucified and to the 7 sorrows of Mary. Let us attempt not to add more anguish to them. Take my Way of the Cross and Litany of the Sacred Heart and all 4 rosary Mysteries today as reparation for these offences. Holy Mary, help the helpless. Amen.
