Saint Faustina Kowalska, an apostle of the Divine Mercy, belongs today to the group of the most popular and well-known saints of the Church. Through her, the Lord Jesus communicated to the world a great message of God’s mercy.
On October 10, 1937, in her diary, Saint Faustina wrote that Jesus asked that she pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and venerate the Divine Mercy image at 3 p.m. She wrote that Jesus said to her:
“As often as you hear the clock strike the third hour immerse yourself completely in My mercy, adoring and glorifying it, invoke its omnipotence for the whole world, and particularly for poor sinners, for at that moment mercy was opened wide for every soul.”
1. Celebrate the Feast on the Sunday after Easter; 2. Sincerely repent for all our sins; 3. Place our complete trust in Jesus; 4. Go to Confession, preferably before that Sunday; 5. Receive Holy Communion on the day of the Feast; 6. Venerate the Image of The Divine Mercy; 7. Be merciful to others, through our actions, words, and prayers on their behalf.
To help you pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as Our Lord requested through Saint Faustina, uCatholic has created an easy to follow prayer card guide that will teach you how to pray the chaplet. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world! Jesus, I Trust In You!
