Pope Francis said President Joe Biden’s support for abortion as a Catholic is an “inconsistency.”
“A month after conception, the DNA of the fetus is already there, and the organs are aligned. There is human life. Is it just to eliminate a human life?”
He’ll leave it up to Biden’s “conscience,” urging he should speak “to his bishop, his pastor, his parish priest about that.”
Pope Francis was also asked about Nancy Pelosi receiving Communion in the Vatican during his interview with Spanish TV network Univision.
He warned that “when a pastor loses the pastoral dimension, he creates a political problem.”
He spoke similarly in an interview with Reuters about Roe v. Wade being overturned and pro-abortion politicians receiving Communion.
“When the Church loses its pastoral nature, when a bishop loses his pastoral nature, it causes a political problem. That’s all I can say.”
