President Trump has declared a National Day of Prayer for this upcoming Sunday, March 15th, in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic. The declaration came during the same speech where the President declared a National state of emergency.

In a tweet, Mr. Trump wrote “We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these….,” “No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith. Together, we will easily PREVAIL!”

Despite the politics of the United States existing in a highly partisan divide, uCatholic recommends all Americans, whether you support the current administration’s policies or not, to participate in the National Day of Prayer.
