Acts 28:11-16,30-31
(11) After three months, we set sail in a ship of Alexandria which had wintered in the island, whose sign was “The Twin Brothers.” (12) Touching at Syracuse, we stayed there three days. (13) From there we circled around and arrived at Rhegium. After one day, a south wind sprang up, and on the second day we came to Puteoli, (14) where we found brothers, and were entreated to stay with them for seven days. So we came to Rome. (15) From there the brothers, when they heard of us, came to meet us as far as The Market of Appius and The Three Taverns. When Paul saw them, he thanked God, and took courage. (16) When we entered into Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard, but Paul was allowed to stay by himself with the soldier who guarded him. (30) Paul stayed two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who were coming to him, (31) preaching God’s Kingdom, and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, without hindrance.

Psalms 98:1-6
(1) Sing to Yahweh a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand, and his holy arm, have worked salvation for him. (2) Yahweh has made known his salvation. He has openly shown his righteousness in the sight of the nations. (3) He has remembered his loving kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. (4) Make a joyful noise to Yahweh, all the earth! Burst out and sing for joy, yes, sing praises! (5) Sing praises to Yahweh with the harp, with the harp and the voice of melody. (6) With trumpets and sound of the ram’s horn, make a joyful noise before the King, Yahweh.

Matthew 14:22-33
(22) Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat, and to go ahead of him to the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. (23) After he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into the mountain by himself to pray. When evening had come, he was there alone. (24) But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, distressed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. (25) In the fourth watch of the night, Jesus came to them, walking on the sea. (26) When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It’s a ghost!” and they cried out for fear. (27) But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.” (28) Peter answered him and said, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters.” (29) He said, “Come!” Peter stepped down from the boat, and walked on the waters to come to Jesus. (30) But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” (31) Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” (32) When they got up into the boat, the wind ceased. (33) Those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, “You are truly the Son of God!”
