Sirach 50:22-24
(22) And now bless you⌃ the God of all, Which everywhere does great things, Which exalts our days from the womb, And deals with us according to his mercy. (23) May he grant us joyfulness of heart, And that peace may be in our days in Israel for the days of eternity: (24) To intrust his mercy with us; And let him deliver us in his time!
Psalms 138:1-5
(1) I will give you thanks with my whole heart. Before the gods, I will sing praises to you. (2) I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your Name for your loving kindness and for your truth; for you have exalted your Name and your Word above all. (3) In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul. (4) All the kings of the earth will give you thanks, Yahweh, for they have heard the words of your mouth. (5) Yes, they will sing of the ways of Yahweh; for great is Yahweh’s glory.
1 Corinthians 1:3-9
(3) Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (4) I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus; (5) that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge; (6) even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: (7) so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ; (8) who will also confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. (9) God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Luke 17:11-19
(11) As he was on his way to Jerusalem, he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee. (12) As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance. (13) They lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” (14) When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” As they went, they were cleansed. (15) One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice. (16) He fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan. (17) Jesus answered, “Weren’t the ten cleansed? But where are the nine? (18) Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?” (19) Then he said to him, “Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you.”
