The Vatican has announced the upcoming release of a document titled “Infinite Dignity,” which will address human dignity.
The document is a response to both internal and external critiques, particularly the criticism that arose from the Dicastery’s previous document, Fiducia Supplicans, on blessings for same-sex couples.
Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández, the prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, will present it on Monday, April 8.
He has indicated that “Infinite Dignity” will offer a “strong criticism of moral questions such as sex-change surgery, surrogacy, and gender ideology.”
Pope Francis has previously denounced gender ideology, calling it the “ugly danger” of our time.
This position is anticipated to be reflected in the new document.
