Revelation 3:7-8,10-12
(7) “To the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write: “He who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says these things: (8) “I know your works (behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut), that you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn’t deny my name. (10) Because you kept my command to endure, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, which is to come on the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. (11) I am coming quickly! Hold firmly that which you have, so that no one takes your crown. (12) He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.

2 Timothy 2:8-13,3:10-12
(8) Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, of the offspring of David, according to my Good News, (9) in which I suffer hardship to the point of chains as a criminal. But God’s word isn’t chained. (10) Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones’ sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. (11) This saying is trustworthy: “For if we died with him, we will also live with him. (12) If we endure, we will also reign with him. If we deny him, he also will deny us. (13) If we are faithless, he remains faithful. For he can’t deny himself.” (10) But you did follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness, (11) persecutions, and sufferings: those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. The Lord delivered me out of them all. (12) Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

Psalms 119:137-144
(137) You are righteous, Yahweh. Your judgments are upright. (138) You have commanded your statutes in righteousness. They are fully trustworthy. (139) My zeal wears me out, because my enemies ignore your words. (140) Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them. (141) I am small and despised. I don’t forget your precepts. (142) Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness. Your law is truth. (143) Trouble and anguish have taken hold of me. Your commandments are my delight. (144) Your testimonies are righteous forever. Give me understanding, that I may live.

John 10:11-16
(11) I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (12) He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who doesn’t own the sheep, sees the wolf coming, leaves the sheep, and flees. The wolf snatches the sheep, and scatters them. (13) The hired hand flees because he is a hired hand, and doesn’t care for the sheep. (14) I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and I’m known by my own; (15) even as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep. (16) I have other sheep, which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.
