I have been to Lourdes and remember so well the singing we did as we marched in a procession.BUT…I didn’t really know the words,now I do! Tears were streaming down my eyes though, so beautiful.

I appreciate what Clement says, however, I need to make a correction here. We, as Catholics, do not adore Mary. We ask her to pray for and with us. She is our loving Mother. Her job is only to point us to her Son Jesus. Please forgive me, I don’t mean to be picky, however, I work with a lot of people from different religious denominations and it is important that they have a true understanding of how we see Mary, as Catholics. We do not worship her as many of them think. Thank you.

Tears come down my face every time I sing this song.
But, it is so much more beautiful when I hear it song by a group of nuns, in a cloister.
They no mater where they sing it, I can’t help myself. They always sing it better than I ever could! And I feel so much more blessed!
