Thank You Lord for the blessings received and for prayers answered. Lord please forgive me of my sins. Oh Lord please guide, protect, keep safe, healthy and happy; me, my family and dear friends in all our travels and endeavors today. I pray for the souls in purgatory especially for the souls of my Mom and Dad. Thank You Lord for the guidance received at the time of my heart attack; please heal my heart and body and give me strength. Please guide my daughter in her job and all her endeavors with a happy attitude; please guide her doctor to find the cause and cure of her pain to keep her healthy. Comfort all my family and friends who are fighting and enduring heart disease, cancer, arthritis, dementia, illness, injury and surgery. Please eradicate all forms of the covid-19 disease from the world. Lord please keep Pope Francis healthy as he leads Your church. Current RCIA at my local perish. 38 years raised in the Methodist church. Spiritual awakening last month.
Last month I had a dream. I’m one who never remembers his dreams. I was backpacking up a mountain. Traveling from cabin to cabin. Coming across people and not really speaking. Just eating and drinking w them. Fellowship. Occasionally my daughter would appear along the way. Bridges’s would appear in which I would carry my daughter and others would be carrying parents, grandparents, and spouses. Also three occasions that a church would appear, but I wouldn’t go inside. I didn’t think anything about it other than it’s wild I actually remember a dream.
3 days later my friend who is Catholic tells me she got me a Christmas present. Opened it and it was a St. Christopher necklace pennant. She said although you aren’t Catholic, I saw this and had to get it for you. I asked about St. Christopher and she explained he assists us in our physical and spiritual travels. She told me the story of St Christopher carrying the child on his shoulders across the river who was Jesus. I got goosebumps. Within days friends of St. Peter’s asked me to go to mass. As soon as I walked in and set down. I almost began crying and I knew what God was telling me.
I’m not crazy haha. But I can’t explain it. I believe in coincidence, but I also believe that God was directing me. In a meeting with Father he blessed my pendant and me as I left his office. I’m a divorced father of a beautiful 5yo daughter. I know I have sinned with a familiar split. Please pray for me. Blinders are off. I only pray it’s not too late. I will enter the church as a member and hope to receive communion throughout the week. Pray for me.
