A potential eucharistic miracle is currently being investigated by the Archdiocese of Hartford, following reports from a local television station in Connecticut. The incident is said to have occurred during a recent Mass at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Thomaston, where a eucharistic minister witnessed something inexplicable while distributing Communion.

According to Father Joseph Crowley, who announced the incident to the congregation, the minister had almost run out of hosts when, suddenly, more hosts appeared in the ciborium. The priest was overcome with emotion as he recounted the occurrence, stating that “God just duplicated himself in the ciborium.”

Describing the event as “very powerful, very awesome, very real, very shocking,” Father Crowley went on to say that it was not only a miracle of the Eucharist that was witnessed that day, but a larger miracle as well. He expressed his excitement at the opportunity to witness such a moment and urged the faithful to embrace it as well.

Since the incident, the Archdiocese of Hartford has been conducting an investigation into this possible miracle, to determine the authenticity of the claims made.
