Genesis 2:18-25
Psalms 128:1-5
Mark 7:24-30

Genesis 2:18-25
(18) Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.” (19) Out of the ground Yahweh God formed every animal of the field, and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. Whatever the man called every living creature became its name. (20) The man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the sky, and to every animal of the field; but for man there was not found a helper comparable to him. (21) Yahweh God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. As the man slept, he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. (22) Yahweh God made a woman from the rib which he had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. (23) The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.” (24) Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. (25) The man and his wife were both naked, and they were not ashamed.

Psalms 128:1-5
(1) Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, who walks in his ways. (2) For you will eat the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you. (3) Your wife will be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of your house; your children like olive plants, around your table. (4) Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears Yahweh. (5) May Yahweh bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

Mark 7:24-30
(24) From there he arose, and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house, and didn’t want anyone to know it, but he couldn’t escape notice. (25) For a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet. (26) Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter. (27) But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” (28) But she answered him, “Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.” (29) He said to her, “For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter.” (30) She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.
