Why do Catholics call their priests father when Jesus says in the Gospel of Matthew to call no man father on earth?

Then we should stop calling our biological father “father”. The priest calls the congregation his children because he shepherds them and the congregation calls the priest their father, not biologically but spiritually. The priest is our spiritual father.
