Last month, Pope Francis revealed he helped with a prisoner swap between Russia and Ukraine.

Now, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitri Peskov said they would be willing to talk with Pope Francis, the US, and France about ending the war in Ukraine.

Peskov said Tuesday “we are willing to discuss all this with the Americans, with the French, and with the pontiff.”

He was referring to French President Emmanuel Macron’s proposal for “Pope Francis to call Vladimir Putin and Patriarch Kirill, but also Joe Biden … to promote the peace process in Ukraine.”

Peskov added that “if this really goes in the direction of the efforts to search for possible solutions, it can be positively assessed.”

Pray for peace!
