Please pray for all those who are ill throughout rhe world. Please lord give us strength and courage .

Alpha and Omega God, I commit myself, my wife and my children into your hands. I also commit my extended family, love ones and the entire world into your hands. I pray and soak the entire earth into the mighty blood of our Lord Jesus Christ from coronavirus and all other deadly virus. Father in heaven, please have mercy and heal those infected with coronavirus and protect the entire world from this epidemic. Also, prtectect all health workers across the world, grant wisdom to researchers to get a cure for it.Please again, grant our leaders too, wisdom so that they can help wipe out this deadly virus from the surface of this earth. Finally, as we are about to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, let the heavens open and speak healing into to word for Satan and his company to know that, God has the whole world under his control. I pray in Jesus name, Amen🙏

Lord please bless all your people with good health. Please protect our frontliners and all the members of our family and our loved ones from the virus. Have mercy on your people Lord. Thank You because You will never abandon us!

For all of the holy priests who have impacted my life in some way. Msgr. Fuerth who helmed our parish from 1921-61, whom I never met. For those who bestowed the Sacraments upon myself and my children. For Anna McSherry who ran our rectory for 50+yrs , living to 102. That they all know they mattered and are remembered.
May vocations to the priesthood, a call to serve, multiply in this time of social famine.
Act of Contrition: O my God, I am very sorry for having offended Thee. I detest my sins sincerely, not only because by them I have lost all rights to Heaven, and deserve the everlasting pains of hell, but also because I displeased Thee, my God, who art so deserving of all my love on account of Thy infinite goodness, and I firmly resolve nevermore to offend Thee. Amen.

Lord Jesus by your triumphant entry into Jerusalem a donkey was released to serve you. I pray you release me from whatever is holding me back from serving you. Release me from whatever situation is holding me back from serving you. I have prayed in Jesus’ name Amen.

A prayer in a time of coronavirus

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge our dependence upon you. This virus has reminded us of our frailty. We have subdued much of the earth with our innovation and creative acts, but we are reminded in this moment how frail and powerless we really are. So we repent of our self-sufficiency and hubris.

Lord, we lament the fallen nature of our world, which mars the beauty of your created order. COVID-19 comes to steal and destroy, to worm its way through human bodies and spread its vile sickness across communities and nations and the world. We, like your Son, weep and rage at sickness and death. And yet we know that it was Jesus whose death and resurrection defeated this final foe. We long for the day you resurrect our bodies and restore the world.

As we endure this new normal in our lives, we pray earnestly for the heroic medical doctors, nurses, and health care professionals who are putting their lives on the line for their neighbors. May you give them strength and physical immunity during this time, so they can help push back against this ravaging virus.

We pray for the scientists, disease experts, and epidemiologists who are working feverishly on vaccines and testing mechanisms. Lord, we thank you for gifting them with knowledge and wisdom we don’t have. We pray for their endurance, for breakthroughs, and for resources.

Lord, you are the Great Physician, so we pray for healing for the victims of COVID-19. Lord, you are the Creator, with power over the creation, so we pray for COVID-19 to be destroyed. Spirit of God, you are the Comforter, so please comfort our troubled souls.

Dear God, move in the hearts of our public officials. As you have instructed us in your Word, we earnestly beseech you on behalf of our president, Congress, governors, mayors, and local officials. We pray you guide them with wisdom and strength and discernment.

We also pray for the people in our nation and the nations of the world to be humbled and turn to you in repentance and faith. We know you are the Prince of peace, Lord of lords, the King of kings. We praise you for your goodness and your mercy. And we ask this all in the name of Jesus, our Lord.
