Matthew 5:13-16

2 Timothy 4:1-5
(1) I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom: (2) preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching. (3) For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; (4) and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn away to fables. (5) But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.

Psalms 37:3-6,30-31
(3) Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. (4) Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (5) Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: (6) he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. (30) The mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom. His tongue speaks justice. (31) The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide.

Matthew 5:13-16
(13) “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men. (14) You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden. (15) Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. (16) Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
