Acts 8:1-8
Psalms 66:1-7
John 6:35-40

Acts 8:1-8
(1) Saul was consenting to his death. A great persecution arose against the assembly which was in Jerusalem in that day. They were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except for the apostles. (2) Devout men buried Stephen, and lamented greatly over him. (3) But Saul ravaged the assembly, entering into every house, and dragged both men and women off to prison. (4) Therefore those who were scattered abroad went around preaching the word. (5) Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and proclaimed to them the Christ. (6) The multitudes listened with one accord to the things that were spoken by Philip, when they heard and saw the signs which he did. (7) For unclean spirits came out of many of those who had them. They came out, crying with a loud voice. Many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed. (8) There was great joy in that city.

Psalms 66:1-7
(1) Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! (2) Sing to the glory of his name! Offer glory and praise! (3) Tell God, “How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you. (4) All the earth will worship you, and will sing to you; they will sing to your name.” Selah. (5) Come, and see God’s deeds— awesome work on behalf of the children of men. (6) He turned the sea into dry land. They went through the river on foot. There, we rejoiced in him. (7) He rules by his might forever. His eyes watch the nations. Don’t let the rebellious rise up against him. Selah.

John 6:35-40
(35) Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. (36) But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you don’t believe. (37) All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out. (38) For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. (39) This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day. (40) This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
