2628 Adoration is the first attitude of man acknowledging that he is a creature before his Creator. It exalts the greatness of the Lord who made us and the almighty power of the Savior who sets us free from evil. Adoration is homage of the spirit to the “King of Glory,”respectful silence in the presence of the “ever greater” God. Adoration of the thrice-holy and sovereign God of love blends with humility and gives assurance to our supplications.

  1. Adoration can then only be possible
    if the soul is contrite;
    Contrition is due to humility
And humility results out of obedience
    and reverence
    To God.

The question is, how does the Christian live these?

    Simply said than done:
But we ought to try and try
    Perfection comes after trials
And the way is the goal,
but the Ultimate Goal should only be:
    To be with Him!

Let´s therefore focus on the essential:
And with the Holy Spirit in us
    our sorrows turn into joy,
    our tears into laughter,
    our failures into grace,
    our laments into a song,
    our struggles into a dance,
    our prayers into hope
    that enkindles the love
    He planted in our hearts!
    So be it.
