Prayer Petitions For August 17, 2016

Dear Lord, hear our prayers. Almighty Father, Lord Jesus, Blessed Virgin Mary, Holy Spirit and all the Saints that watch over us, please pray for me and my family, stand by us, protect us and keep us safe. I humbly beg of You, please, grant me the one Miracle that I pray for in my prayers, and petitions, spoken and unspoken, each and every day. Continue to help us in every way and anyway that You can. Please find it in your hearts to pray for all the petitioners on this wonderful site. In Your names I ask these things. Thank You for prayers answered even those prayers that are unspoken. Amen, amen.

First of all, I would like to give thanks and praise for all the blessings in my life, especially all the people that are in my life right now. I thank you, Lord!
Please pray for a friend of mine (Rob) who is having problem with his health. He is having some sort of problem with his heart and also his foot. The pain in his foot along with the worries are keeping him up at night. May God be with him as he go through this difficult time. Through this experience, may it help him to strengthen his faith.
Please also pray for peace: in the world, our country, in my family, and in my heart.
Please pray for all those who are facing difficulties in their lives, especially for my friend Jeff. Whatever difficulties/challenges they are facing. May bitterness and negativity not reign their hearts, but rather true peace.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the saints, may I be able to find a full time and stable job.

Thank you Jesus for bringing me to this site. Please hear my prayer for my children, especially my son, to feel your presence and come back to church.

Heavenly Father, In all modesty I come to You as always first to thank You for Your unconditional love, grace, blessings, protection and guide, which You have so unfailingly favored me with and I am so fortunate to receive and accept. You are my rock and my guiding light and I love you. Lord, I humbly pray to You asking for Your assistance with my family, especially my daughters, that they may forgive each other, and heal physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually, with unconditional love, compassion, respect and tolerance with/to each other, and unite us as a family. Please Lord heal their grievances and unite our family. I also ask for healing of our all the illnesses that our family members are going through. Oh Merciful God, hear our prayers. Almighty Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Blessed Virgin Mary, all choir of Angels, and all the Saints that watch over us, please pray for my family, stand by us, protect us and keep us safe. I humbly beg of You, to grant me this one Miracle that I pray for in my prayers and petitions each and every day, and continue to bless us in every way and anyway that You can. I also ask for healing of friends that are suffering or ill, and unity in this country and the world, that we may be more forgiving, loving and compassionate with each other and all living things. In Jesus name, Amen, Amen, Amen. I see the miracle already happening before my eyes. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

Heavenly Father, I thank you for this day, please listen to the prayers of everyone here and have mercy upon us, our family an the souls in purgatory. Let your favour Lord continue to locate us and always assist us in all our endeavours. Amen.

Thank you Holy Spirit for the support and direction in yesterday’s petition, I ask to guide my son in safe travels for the week ahead. Protect him on the plane and long drive .
Will thanksgiving and devotion I believe in your protection. I also pray you will direct the sale of my home that is a burden I can no longer keep. Praise you in Jesus’ name !

Almighty Lord and Father, I greatly give thanks for the wonderful graces me and my husband are experiencing. i wish you continue shower us there graces and blessings throughout our lives. Thank you for the new job of my husband which helps him feel more successful and determined in his career. I pray dear Lord for my brother and sisters in the Philippines and their families that may face life without financial struggles and may their kids grow to be more family oriented and in the footsteps of Catholic life. I pray too for for my brothers and their families here in the U.S. that our bond of relationships remain to be strong. please god watch over me during my upcoming surgery on Friday and please god help with the problems that I am having at work with the harassment and bullying from a co worker which is causing me so much stress and anxiety.. I ask this in your Name …amen

lord let the therapists and doctors make the right decision re return to school of grandson and heal him completely from substance abuse and hold his hand as he seeks a spiritual journey back to you.keep this family under your protection and especially grandson who has such creative talents that youve given him,let him focus on you o lord so that you can help him focus on his school .i ask all this in your name oh jesus ,also help his mom with trust and faith in you to take care of her son as he wud b many miles away from home. thanks for answered prayers.

Praying for them to find affordable insurance coverage for him soon! Sharing some information about Travis’ HAE because I have had a lot of questions about what it is and what it does. It is very rare genetic mutation missing a blood protein C1 INH inhibitor that is involved in the regulation of fluid. The prior link explains that well.

Interesting that HAE can affect the GI tract and could be a patient that may seen by a GI Dr. It causes swelling of the intestines and can cause excruciating abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea. Sometimes these patients who are not diagnosed end up with exploratory laparotomy for acute abdomen. The swelling continues to build for 3 to 5 days before subsiding without treatment. My son relates that it is fluid pushing on all internal organs, and he can feel the mass of fluid building. Can not turn or move with this without excruciating pain.

Up to 30% of these pts can die from asphyxiation from laryngeal swelling. 50% of these pts have these attacks. Travis did at the age of 17 and was on the ventilator though at that time we did not know what it was. It is not an allergic reaction so does not respond to epinephrine, steroids, etc. These pts may also end up with an emergent tracheostomy due to the degree of disfigurement and swelling of the larynx. Swelling of the larynx can be slow but may also swell to cause death in 20 min. Epi won’t work for this.

HAE can also cause gross disfiguring swelling face, arms, legs, feet. With facial swelling the entire face and forehead swells with the eyes also swollen shut and the lips very big and protruding.

My son now has this gross swelling in 2 or 3 areas at a time which is relatively new. The course of flares can vary greatly even in the same pt. Approved treatment is new in the last few yrs in the US thus the cost of injection or infusion is very high at 50000 per dose up to 100000 or more per yr for preventive therapy depending on how frequent attacks occur and where
