Saint Blaise, pray for us. I know it’s not your feastday of February 3rd, but my memories of getting my throat blessed solemly as a child, with the intersecting blessed beeswax tapered candles tied together with a red ribbon, is foremost in my mind. It was important to my dad, for the health of our entire family. I pray for all those with breathing-related health issues to find consolation and healing. Please intercede for them all to Christ Jesus, Son of the Living God. May all suffering be united to His Cross and transformed into the purification of many souls and conversion of many sinners. Amen.
